woot was able to get to him with the ones I had in storage (again triple digits)...packrat to the rescue...
Nic ....well, guess one lucky week followed by a bunch of bad ones: 5 red candy, 5 green, 5 cottontails, 10 poppers and another keg...well at least my monk is happy with more ale and sweets ~ (and was able to sell a bunch of crests!)

The bug is that his text is not updated to request the item he is asking for. Or that he is in an incorrect location with missing text.

That doesn't answer my question on whether this is a selective bug or not. Before Inde updated the front page, people already confirmed it it is working, but she still updated it with "Bugged though currently, may move."

I think he's making an inference based upon what happened the last time he displayed "Trophy greet text here". In that case he would trade for krait skins for the first 6 hours or so, then ANET released a new build which moved him to Nightfall and Behemoth hides were wanted.

I guess he just wanted to warn people that in these circumstances he *might* be relocated so people don't moan quite as much if they're left with Crests. That being said, as stated above, at least you can salvage these to feathers if that does happen.

Nice farm, spirit spammed the quetzals in verdant cascades, 20 crests in 20 minutes for my 2 accounts. Crappy gifts. I'm up to 60 mercantile summoning stones in my storage now

Same with me, 11 crests in 20 minutes, and I did it in HM solo (R/Rt spirit spammer - died 3 times LOL, I got careless). Didn't find any golds, tomes or chests tho -but got about 1.5k in vendor trash... No feathers dropped either (don't they drop feathers?!?). Also, killed that mesmer boss, but no green/elite tome drop...

At least they fixed the text this time, rather than just bumping it a week like the Krait debacle. I mean, when they ran up against that problem then, didn't they check the remainder to ensure no others had said-same 'no text' issue?!...

yah know last time they moved him, i was still logged in, i hadnt gotten my gifts yet so i went to the place, farmed my krait skins and gave em to nick for my 5 gifts just in case i could get more when he moved or the items were harder to farm

The reason that was posted by Inde is that the last time Nicholas was in a location with missing text (2 weeks ago), he moved location and changed collector item half a day later.
